We believe that healthy ecosystems and healthy communities are interconnected and that knowledge is the bond that strengthens that connection. It is with that in mind that we have made it our goal to ensure that residents of the West Coast have the knowledge needed to act responsibly and serve as stewards of our land, air and water. Conservation is our goal, education is our tool.
During the COVID-19 pandemic we moved some key programs online to continue to deliver educational opportunities to the Clayoquot and Barkley Sound communities. Through online education we are able to bring people of all ages virtually out on the land and the water to learn about, appreciate, and be inspired by the natural world; we still believe that by getting our hands dirty and our feet wet will we truly understand what makes this place so special and encourage our audiences to do so safely.

Raincoast Field School @ home is an interactive online program delivered by Raincoast Field School instructors, educators and scientists. The program provides our local students (and beyond!) with nature-based programming during COVID-19 related school closures.
